  Design: roundish breast badge, gilt with enamels, 40mm across, with suspension ribbon
    Obverse: five sharp pointed star with a large red disk having a small gold star in the center, a light blue cogwheel below, and a rim of gold rice sheaves and a dark blue riband with a gold Lao inscription for revolutionary victoryLao text gif(bah-ti-wat sa-na-luet);
    Reverse: plain
  Ribbon: 25mm; red 7mm, blue 11mm, red 7mm, with no change for class, and a woven white circle in the center like the flag; in a pentagonal suspension, the ribbon folded opposite from the other LPDR medals,
    service bar: as per class (see below)

The design of this award resembles that of the Medal for Bravery.

The medal is not uncommon.
